Some of the other worms think that the Bold Worm is just too small to do anything of importance. But the Bold Worm proves that no one is too small! It scares off the local bully and persuades everyone to join the
'Save our Soil' demonstration.
'Earthworms
forever!" the Bold Worm shouts
as it travels the world asking everyone to stop using chemicals on the
soil so that
all worms can live safely.
The
Carefree Ladybug
Ladybugs
are very useful but this ladybug
wants to be 'carefree' for once.
So
the ladybug sets about becoming carefree and then helps others become
carefree too!
To her great surprise the
Carefree Ladybug gets elected as the new Mayor of Ladybug City. She gives
everyone 3 extra days off a year
which makes Ladybug City a very
happy place to live in, as you can magine!
The
Lazy Bee
The
Lazy Bee dozes in the sun and dreams and
dreams. While others talk and talk,
the Lazy Bee solves problems
and comes up with useful ideas.
One
of the Lazy Bee's dreams helps
the other bees find nectar.
In another dream the Lazy Bee comes up with
the idea of growing fields full of nettles!
The
nettles prove to be very useful and
especially liked by beautiful butterflies.
The
Independent Ant
The
other ants think that the
Independent Ant is just too independent.
But
they change their minds
when the Independent Ant finds
them lots of cookies.
The
Independent Ant loves to cycle
in the fresh air. Traffic jams and fumes really annoy it so the Independent
Ant forms the
Ant Traffic Control Demonstration
Team.
This
remarkable team of five bicycle-riding
ants travel the world persuading people
to ride bicycles.
The Flying Caterpillar just can't wait to turn into a butterfly.
"You'll have to wait like the rest of us", the other caterpillars say.
But
the Flying Caterpillar doesn't wait.
It glides from the highest tree using a pair of home-made wings.
And
it doesn't stop there. When the Flying Caterpillar
changes into a beautiful butterfly, it is even more adventurous
and wants to fly to Mars! It doesn't get to Mars
but does fly around the world in a solar-powered spaceship.
Everyone gets inspired and they start using solar
power
for all sorts of amazing things.
